About me! *

Hi, i’m Emily!

I’m a senior at the University of Missouri pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Digital Storytelling. My academic and creative journey has centered around the intersection of visual communication and narrative — using design not just as a way to make things look good, but as a tool to tell meaningful, engaging stories.

Through my coursework and personal projects, I’ve developed a strong foundation in branding, typography, layout design, and user-centered thinking. My minor in Digital Storytelling has deepened my ability to integrate video, animation, sound, and interactive media into my work, allowing me to create immersive, multimedia experiences that resonate across platforms. Whether it’s crafting a visual identity for a brand, designing content for social media, or building narrative elements into games or film, I’m passionate about using design to connect with audiences in intentional and impactful ways.

I’m especially interested in projects that allow me to blend creativity with strategy — from packaging and merchandise to posters, digital campaigns, and beyond. As I look ahead to the next chapter in my design career, I’m excited to contribute to a team where storytelling, collaboration, and thoughtful design are at the heart of the work.

Art has been a lifelong passion of mine. I began exploring creative tools like Adobe Photoshop at the age of ten—introduced by my dad. This foundation sparked not only a love for design, but also a desire to continually learn, experiment, and express ideas visually.

My work has been featured in multiple galleries and art shows over the years, where it has received recognition from both the design community and general audiences alike. As a designer, I’m always looking to expand my skill set and push the boundaries of my work—whether through new techniques, technologies, or collaborative opportunities. I approach each project with a commitment to telling compelling visual stories that connect with people.
